it is winter ... the sky is quite often gray, the stars rare to see, the sun a strange light in the sky that we tease away with our continuing trust in the dark... i am working on new songs.

I am releasing my new cd, Everything That Blooms Wrecks Me, this month. It is very special to me and I hope that it may say something to others, too. Many Austin friends (what I miss most about Texas) contributed - I thank them! The album is presently available only here on my website.
I have relocated to Juneau, Alaska after spending the last couple of seasons moving around with my husband & my son, slowly working on my projects and also just being a mother & homeschooling my child & enjoying the northern winter solitude ... I am also working on a new book the shape of which is slowly showing itself to me. & I have at last finished updating this website. I hope you will enjoy the new music here, & I thank you very humbly for visiting....
